Introduction

Welcome to my electronic teaching portfolio.  This site is dedicated to providing an overview of my professional life as an instructor in higher education.  In addition to my philosophies, tools, and experience you will find examples of my teaching and feedback from my students.

Profile
I currently serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Management for the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas.  I joined the faculty at UNT after 12 years in a variety of industries including property management, restaurant services, and higher education administration.  My primary focus rests on business ethics and corporate social responsibility, largely concerned with the intersection of corporations, globalization, and the social/environmental impacts.  I also have academic interest and concern with organizational behavior, intercultural relationships, and human development.  My own academic background is interdisciplinary with degrees focusing on youth and family development (BS), education (M.Ed.), business (MBA), leadership (PhD), and philosophy (PhD).  I also hold a doctoral certificate in Environmental Science and Ethics.  I instruct both graduate and undergraduate students in both online and face to face forums.  In my personal time I am an avid reader, woodworker, and naturalist.  My partner and I have two children and a bulldog.
